I am aware that I have been quiet when it comes to writing blogposts, but a lot of work has gone on behind the scenes. This is just a very brief update.
My watchword for 2025 was “untangle”, a word that did not make sense to me for most of the year, but looking back I can see how several strands of my life have been untangled. I am much clearer about what makes me tick and how I can tie myself in knots if I ignore how I am wired.
I have also realised that all the creative work I have really enjoyed, whether painting, writing, or photography, is ultimately about story-telling.
In recent weeks I have loved creating resources for Christmas, inspired by figurines that were created by my friend David Carter. You can download the resources for FREE in my Ko-fi shop: www.ko-fi.com/susanneirving/shop
My focus on writing is likely to continue in 2026.
I will not be applying for the next AppArt exhibition, but I am exhibiting a lot of my artwork in the Liss Triangle Centre from 5th to 29th January. The aim is to make space for new projects and also raise money for charity.
Wishing you and your loved ones a peaceful, joyful Christmas.
May next year be filled with blessings, especially if 2025 has been a hard year for you.
