Resurrection 2

I use butterflies to symbolize the resurrection because of the way a humble caterpillar is transformed into a butterfly after being “entombed” in a cocoon.

“Resurrection 2” is a process photo taken after inks had been freshly poured on a canvas. I used a filter in Photoshop Elements 6 to enhance a sense of power and movement. (Check out the “Resurrection” print for a variation on the theme.)

I have used Photoshop Elements 6 for photo editing since 2007 and will only replace it if it stops working. This is part of my attempt to make environment-friendly choices in my whole production process.

I use a carbon neutral printing company with printing facilities in the UK, EU and US for my prints. I print my work on Hahnemühle Bamboo due to the paper’s longevity and environmental credentials.

The print is offered in 2 sizes: 20cm x 20cm (8″ x 8″) and 30cm x 30cm (12″ x 12″). This includes a 1.5 cm (0.6″) border.
