Star burst

I often wonder what it was like when our universe first burst into being. Intriguingly, the bible indicates that creation was spoken or even sung into existence. I love the thought of words having power for good…

In “Star burst”, I juxtaposed different materials to create a 3D effect, enhancing a sense of energy and depth. Some of the dyes I used were fugitive, with some colours fading over the years.  However, I always take high quality photographs of my originals, so experiments can be preserved for others to enjoy as a high quality print.

I am aiming to make environment-friendly choices in my whole production process, so I use a carbon neutral printing company with printing facilities in the UK, EU and US for my prints. I print my work on Hahnemühle Bamboo due to the paper’s longevity and environmental credentials.

“Star burst” is available in 2 sizes: 15cm x 20cm (6” x 8”) and 30cm x 40cm (12” x 16”). This includes a 8mm (0.3”) border at the top and bottom and 10mm (0.4”) on the left and right of the print.
